When you enter some vacation rentals you feel as though you have been deceived. The Kismet Cottage is not one of those. It is a charming little house downtown St. Joseph, MI with three bedrooms and lots of comfy beds! The owner definitely takes a lot of pride in this vacation rental by the way the house feels and looks when you enter it. The décor is definitely comforting. The location of the house downtown is ideal. It is a block away from all the great restaurants and cute shopping that St. Joseph, MI has to offer. I believe this was our 8th time staying at Kismet, and every year we fall in love more with this place. My kids have grown up vacationing at Kismet! It is just a block away from all the shops/restaurants of downtown St. Joe. We have also walked to the beach without needing a vehicle. The sleeping arrangement is super convenient for my family with three (now older teen/adult) kids. We enjoy cooking in the kitchen which is clean and well-appointed with dishes, pots and pans. The fire station next door has never been noisy and I actually find it comforting. It is reasonably priced for seven full nights. I can't recommind Kismet highly enough!

We had a wonderful time at the Kismet Cottage again this year - like last year the kids did not want to leave - the beach, cottage and all the activities available for our family were great. My parents and sister liked the fact that restaurants were so close by too. It was also great to come home to the comfort of a nice place after a busy day to relax and watch a little TV - thanks Cindy for making it such a nice place to visit!
